Introduction

Foongtone Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 1989 with Yuen Foong Paper Co., Ltd. as its dominating majority shareholder.In addition to the sale of paper and office supplies, Yuen Foong Paper is one of the largest security printing companies in Taiwan and plays a leading role in the printing of stocks, checks, coupons and other securities. The Sales Department, the former Card System Depatment, is the first department of Foongtone and has become the sole agent of Datacard in Taiwan since 1993. After more than 10 years of dedication, Datacard has acquired more than 90% market share in the financial industry. Especially, the Datacard EMV Migration Solution is the sole brand name and acquires 100% market share in Taiwan. Foongtone is the leading manufactuer of smart cards in Taiwan with the most advanced professional technology in the card manufacturing and issuance field.

Manufacture Department

Histroy/ Introduction

The Manufacture Department is established in 1996. The current card manufacture building was launched officially in July, 2000.Foongtone card factory has the best IC card manufacture and personalization capability in Taiwan. We have about 60% market share in card products and about 70% in personalized card products. There are four automatic smart card production lines and more than 20 card personalization machines of different sizes in the factory that has an amount capacity of 30 million cards per year. The factory has passed the certification of ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001, and other IC card quality and security standards including MasterCard, VISA, JCB, AE, BS7799, MIP(Multos Issuance Partner), Mondex and Arsenal. Foongtone is the first company specialized in the security manufacture and personalization of IC cards in Taiwan.

The card body Production center provides digital pre-press and printing services as well as professional manufacturing, R&D and OEM services. The effective capacity is supported by four smart card production lines, making the center one of the leading smart card manufacturers in Taiwan . Accounting and Administration Department

Introduction

The Accounting and Administration Department comprises the Accounting Group, Finance Group and HR & Administration Group.

Responsibilities of each group:

Finance Group: Establish the organizational system for the comapny and provide information for making decisions about business operation and management to improve the overall performance and value of the comapny.
Accounting Group: Develope a comprehensive accounting system and promote internal control and audit activities for long-term operation and development of the comapny.
HR & Administration Group:

1. Enhance the HR system to ensure using human resources efficiently and providing adequate manpower to meet the requirements for sound operation and development of the company.
2. Manage and utilize assets of the company to provide a suitable and satisfactory environment for employees.

 

Technical Division

Introduction

1. Develop personalization software for local ATM IC cards and international Visa/Master/JCB and Loyalty cards.

2. Provide EMV construction and consultaion service; focus on R&D and application of card technologies.

System Development Division

Introduction

 

To provide optimized development and application of IC cards for enterprises, the System Development Division conducts the R&D of electronic payment mechanism, reward points system and relevent card application systems to provide banks or enterprises with a highly secured solution of IC card applications.

The System Development Division has the development and integration technologies covering the front-end and back-end operations and is capable of providing system construction and customization service to meet special requirements of customers.The front-end and back-end technologies include:
